Challenges: | ELIGIBILITY KUSA National Puppy: For dogs under twenty-four (24) months on the day of the Show which have been awarded Best Puppy in Show at All Breeds Club Championship Show (excluding FCI Shows). KUSA National Dog: Only Champions of record are eligible to enter. Champion Certificate or KUSA Letter of Confirmation must have been issued before closing date. National Breed Eliminations commence after completion of KUSA Championship Show Best in Show judging but not before 10h30. Breeds will be judged in alphabetical order with puppies being judged first, followed by adults of the same Breed. All Puppy and Adult winners will compete for Best Puppy in Group and Best in Group in the Main Ring as part of the KUSA National Final Awards. | ||

KUSA National Adult Handler Preliminary Round commences on completion of Toy Group but not before 14h00. Shortlist to 4. KUSA National Junior Handler Preliminary Round commences on completion of Terrier & Utility breeds but not before 15h00. Shortlist to 4. All shortlisted finalists return for final judging on Sunday. DETAILED PROGRAMME FOR SUNDAY FINALS TO BE ADVISED SUN 29 MAY - KUSA NATIONAL AWARDS KUSA National Breed and Puppy First Round judging commences immediately on completion of KUSA Championship Show “In-Showsâ€, but not before 10h30. Breeds will be judged in alphabetical order with puppies of each Breed being judged first, followed by adults of the same Breed. Puppy and Adult Winners in each Group compete in Puppy and Adult Groups in the main ring as part of the KUSA National Final Awards. CAMPING Will not be permitted. BENCHING Benching will be permitted from 15h00 on Wednesday, 26 May 2022, provided the rings are set up. Emergency areas must be kept clear at all times. These areas will be demarcated with hazard tape and also indicated on the Ring Plan. No gazebos or benching allowed in emergency areas. PHOTOGRAPHS All exhibitors, handlers and owners of dogs are advised that they and any exhibit entered in any event over the KUSA Classic Weekend may be photographed for, by, or on behalf of, KUSA, for the use and possible publication of such photograph by KUSA. Due to time constraints, no posed photography will be permitted in the Main Ring. A special area for the taking of photographs will be provided outside the ring. MEDIA The KUSA website and KUSA Classic 2022 Facebook Group Page are the only communication media officially recognised by the Show Committee. CATERING Public catering will be provided at all Shows and events. Please take note of the following: • Only dogs with KUSA Registration Numbers or current Foreign Dogs Clearance Certificates are eligible to enter these Shows. • Only Members of the KUSA shall be entitled to enter dogs in their registered ownership in these Shows. • The mating or whelping of bitches within the precincts of any Show is forbidden. • Bitches in season may only be shown in Breed Classes at all events and exhibitors must exercise due consideration towards other exhibits. • No animal other than an exhibit entered for competition or exhibition shall be allowed on the grounds, with the exception of registered guide dogs. • No late entries will be accepted. • The Show Committee reserves the right to allocate to Open Class any dog entered in a Class for which it is not eligible, or entered in a Class not listed on the Show Schedule, or where no Class is entered on the Entry Form. • No refunds of entry fees will be made for any errors whatsoever made by the owner/exhibitor. • The Show Committee reserves the right to appoint alternative Judges; re-allocate breeds and advise all exhibits entered; or adjust the judging times prior to the Show should the appointed Judges be unable to officiate, or receive too large, or too small, an entry. • Order of Breed judging for the Championship Shows is in alphabetical order in accordance with Schedule 2 Appendix “Aâ€, unless otherwise indicated on this Show Schedule. Please keep the grounds and bathrooms clean. When exercising your dogs, please clean up after them. Do not leave this task to others, or to the Ring Stewards.
