Classes, Grades and Challenges:
Classes and Grades: Minor Puppy (correctly inoculated 4-6 months), Puppy (6-9 months), Intermediate (15-24 months), Veteran (8+yrs), Open (15 months+), Working* (15 months+), Champions (All ages as on date of show) *Working Class - qualifications to be attached to entry; minimum qualification. Only for those breeds which require a Working dog Qualification as per FCI
Challenges: ORDER OF JUDGING AT THIS SHOW BREED: Best of Breed, Best Puppy in breed, Best Junior in breed, Best Veteran in Breed, Best Minor Puppy in Breed GROUP: Best in Group, Best Minor Puppy in Group, Best Puppy in Group, Best Junior in Group, Best Veteran in Group (Groups will be judged in each Breed Ring) IN SHOW: Best Minor Puppy in Show, Best Puppy in Show, Best in Show, Best Junior in Show, Best Veteran in Show (Best in Show Events will be judged in the Main Ring)

Eligibility for CACIB: Only dogs/bitches (over 15 months of age on the day of the show) graded "Excellent" awarded 1st place from the Intermediate, open, Working dog or Champion Classes. If the dog awarded a CACIB is already an International Champion, the CACIB may revert to the Reserve CACIB winner (owner to apply to UKSA - see website) Eligibility for Best of Breed: CACIB Dog, CACIB Bitch, Best Junior Dog, Best Junior Bitch, Best Veteran Dog and Best Veteran Bitch (all graded "Excellent") Eligibility for Minor Puppy &/or Best Puppy: Puppies placed 1st with a "Very Promising" grading Certificates & Grading: One comprehensive Certificate will be issued to each exhibit containing the Class, the grading, the placing, the CACIB/ Reserve CACIB award if awarded as well as the BOB, BOS, BEST JUNIOR, BEST VETERAN, BEST PUPPY & BEST MINOR PUPPY awards if awarded. Only Group and Best in show Certificates will be generated separately. These to be collected from the Office. Critiques will be issued in the Ring.

Bitches in season are permitted in the Breed Classes Public catering will be available all day Commercial Stands: Contact Peter Brits 082 543 4163 Benching - will be permitted from 12h30 on Friday 21st August 2020 provided the lawn has been mowed and the rings are set up. Emergency areas must be kept clear at all times. These areas will be marked with hazard tape and also indicated on the ring plan. No Gazebos or benching allowed in the emergency areas. When erecting your tents and gazebo's kindly set them back One (1) meter from the edge of the rings. This includes any ropes. Only dogs with a KUSA Registration number are eligible to enter shows and those dogs given Show clearance from the KUSA office. All exhibitors, handlers, owners are advised that they and any exhibit entered in any event over the TKC Weekend may be photographed for, by or on behalf of TKC for the use and possible publication of such photograph by KUSA. The Show Committee reserves the right to appoint alternative judges, re-allocate breeds and advise all exhibitors entered, or adjust the judging time prior to the show should the appointed judges be unable to officiate or receive too large or too small an entry. No animal other than an exhibit entered for competition or exhibition shall be allowed on the grounds, with the exception of registered guide dogs/service dogs. AS TKC is affiliated to KUSA, the KUSA Website is the website that we recognise for our shows. FCI RULES The FCI Show is held under FCI Rules, the following special notes regarding the show are below: The dogs' welfare must be of utmost priority at all dog shows. The FCI Show is judged according to FCI Breed Standards. Double entries and late entries (after the closing date) are not permitted. No transfer by an exhibitor of a dog from one class to another is permitted after the closing date. The Reserve CACIB is awarded to the second best dog which was given the qualification "Excellent" for the eligible class. The dog placed second in the class from which the CACIB Winner was awarded by complete for the Reserve CACIG. If awarded an "Excellent" Grading. It is not compulsory to award the Reserve CACIB. The Best Junior, CACIB Winner, and Best Veteran from both sexes, if awarded an "Excellent" grading, will compete for Best of Breed (BOB). The judge must also choose the best exhibit from the opposite sex (BOS) next to the BOB Winner. if a dog behave aggressively in the ring (breed-group-finals) and its behaviour is eye-witnessed by the judge on duty, the latter must submit a report for the attention of the organising committee and must disqualify the dog for the rest of the competition. All the awards and titles of the day are consequently cancelled. WHERE FCI REGULATIONS ARE NOT COVERED THEN KUSA SCHEDULE 3 SHALL TAKE EFFECT
