The Draw will take place on Wednesday 5th april 2017 at 173 Ongers St, Magalieskruin. All dogs must be registered with KUSA before entry. Bitches in Season are forbidden within the precincts of the Trial Castrated dogs and spayed bitches are eligible for entry. All dogs born on or after 1st Sept 2010 must have microchip certificate.

Regulations & Disclaimers:
REFRESHMENTS, CATERING AND ACCOMMODATION Meals in the form of light breakfasts and lunches will be on sale to competitors and spectators. The meal request form will be sent out under separate cover. Competitors must please arrange their own accommodation at venues in the Harrismith area. PRIZES: Trophies and prizes will be awarded RULES: Only those dogs actually taking part in the field Trials are allowed at the venue. Schedule 3,4 and 5C(1) will be available at the trials. If the club considers the weather and/or venue unfit for the holding of a Trial, the meeting may be held at a different venue or postponed from day to day until the end of the week, when the stakes that are not decided upon may be abandoned and the entry fees refunded or a fresh draw may be made and a fresh date fixed for the abandoned stakes. The Field Trial committee reserves the right to change the advertised venue of the Trials if this becomes necessary due to fire, flooding, etc, at the time of the event. KUSA must be informed on the first working day after the field trials. If an advertised Judge is prevented from filling his engagement for either the whole or part of the field trial, the Field Trial committee shall have the right to appoint another Judge. JUDGES HAVE THE FINAL DECISION. where the Rule or Guide does not cover a particular situation, the decision will remain with the appointed Judges on the day. Other gundog breeds may enter the stakes but cannot be placed or receive SAHR points. LIABILITY: The Committee will exercise all reasonable care in conducting the trials, but it must be clearly understood that, due to the nature of the sport, competitors, spectators and officials are invited to enter at their own risk and in so doing absolve the Club, Committee and Landowners from any claim whatsoever arising from loss or damage by, or to, any person or property during the course of the trials. Please note that in terms of Regulation 5.9 of Schedule 3 of the KUSA Constitution, as applied through Schedule 5C(1) Retrievers, the following notice to exhibitors is a requirement of the KUSA public liability insurance:
