| Mrs J. Barrow (recvd 3/4/17) - 300 entered, 28 absent, 272 exhibited. The judging commenced at the advertised time and completed 17h00. There was a matter which was brought to KUSA's attention: Bruce Jenkins the Herding Judge reported that exhibit number 50, handled by T Burns, snapped at him and almost bit him in the ring. He asked the exhibitor and dog to leave the ring. I did not see the incident, but Mr Jenkins told me about it and asked me to put it in my report. I am told the dog also snapped at the judge in the Herding Ring, but that judge, John Warren, just let the handler and dog stand at the end and did not ask them to leave the ring. I asked the Show Secretary and Show Manager to put the incident regarding Mr Jenkins in writing, and he also asked the Show Secretary to do so, and to forward it to Sheila as soon as possible. The Show Secretary said she would do so on Tuesday or Wednesday when she was back at work and could do it on her computer. I am doing the report today so that kusa receive it timeously, but will not have the Numbers for dogs entered and absent etc until after next weekend when the other discipline shows are completed. | |||
