| Practice Times: Warm up protection on Wednesday & Thursday at the venue. Teams: To be made up of no less than 2 or more than 5 members of a club,with all points added and divided by number of members in the team. Handlers and dogs may be part of more than one team provided they are a member of that Club. FORMAT OF EVENTS All tracking will be done on Friday at 07h00 All Obedience will be done on Saturday at 16h00 All Protection work will be done on Sunday at 09h00 All protection work will be done in order of de-merit (lowest total score will go first) IPO VO 1/2/3 will be separated for protection work ELIGIBILITY 1. Any dog may compete which is registered with KUSA and whose eligibility is not in conflict with the Regulation hereunder described or has not been suspended or disqualified from competition by the Kennel Union of Southern Africa or any other Canine Control Body. 2. Temporarily resident in the KUSA jurisdiction for the sole purpose of competing in this event which is registered with the canine authority under whose jurisdiction it falls under permanent residence. 3. Is owned by any department or service of the Government of the RSA or any other State 4. Is owned by a public corporation, and whose eligibility is not in conflict with the Regulations hereunder described, or has not been disqualified or suspended from competition by KUSA or any other National Canine Control Body. 5. Dogs must be KUSA Registered EQUIPMENT TO BE USED As per schedule 5B(2)(IPO) of the KUSA Regulations: Dumbbells - Timber of regulation weight Hurdle - sizes as per rules. Horizontal solid vinyl A-Frame - slatted timber, dimensions as per rules. OTHER INFORMATION Any entrant found on the tracking grounds 2 weeks prior to the event will be disqualified. Tracking condition: on plough Competitors must report to the trial manager 30 minutes before their obedience and protection work times. Please give yourself enough time to travel to the tracking grounds, as they will be out of town. Instructions and directions will be given at the draw. Tattoo and microchip verification will be done BEFORE THE TRACKING and at the completion of each discipline. | |||
