Mrs M. Rose (recvd 10/10/16) - 19 entered, 4 absent, 15 exhibited. No time given. The Cape Field Trial Club Open Stake was well run. All game was kept watered and sheltered until required. No competitor mistreated their dog. Mrs S. Greenwood (rcvd 12/10/17)
Regulations & Disclaimers:
PRIZES: Certificates and rosettes will be awarded for placings TROPHIES: Club trophies will be awarded to out of province competitors REFRESHMENTS, CATERING AND ACCOMMODATION Meals in the form of light breakfasts and lunches will be on sale to competitors and spectators. The meal request form will be sent out under separate cover. Liquid refreshments will be available all weekend. THE JUDGES' DECISION IS FINAL. Anyone taking part in the Field Trials who openly impugns the decision of the Judges shall render himself liable to be reported to KUSA. HANDLERS: They are requested to consider the needs of their dogs throughout the trials, ensuring that they have sufficient water. The should wear neutral clothing as required in Schedule 5C(1) Have consideration and respect for the Judges and Officials. No bitches in season are allowed to enter the Trials. Castrated dogs and spayed bitches are eligible for entry. Prizes & Trophies: Will be awarded Handlers are requested to: 1. Consider the needs of their dogs throughout the trials, ensuring that they have sufficient water. 2. Wear neutral clothing as required by Schedule 5C(1). 3. Have consideration and respect for the Judges and Officials. Anyone taking part in the Trials openly impugning the decision of a Judge, shall render him/ herself liable to be reported to the KUSA under the provisions of Schedule 1 (KUSA disciplinary rules). LIABILITY The Committee will exercise all reasonable care in conducting the trials, but it must be clearly understood that, due to the nature of the sport, competitors, spectators and officials are invited to enter at their own risk and in so doing absolve The Golden Retriever Club, Committee and Landowners from any claim whatsoever arising from loss or damage by, or to, any person or property during the course of the trials. Please note that in terms of Regulation 5.9 of Schedule 3 of the KUSA Constitution, as applied through Schedule 5C(1) Retrievers, the following notice to exhibitors is a requirement of the KUSA public liability insurance: The committee shall exercise all reasonable car in conducting this trial, but it must be clearly understood that, due to the nature of the sport, competitors, spectators and officials are invited to enter at their own risk and in doing so absolve the Cape Field Trial Club, Committee and Landowners from any claim whatsoever arising from loss or damage by, or to any person or property during the course of the Trial.
