Eligibility for CACIB. Only dogs/bitches over 15 months of age on the day of the show graded "Excellent", awarded 1st place from the Intermediate, Open, Working dog or Champion Classes. If the dog awarded a CACIB is already an International champion, the CACIB may revert to the Res. CACIB winner (owner to apply to KUSA - see website) Eligibility for Best of Breed: CACIB dog, CACIB bitch, Best Junior dog, Best Junior bitch, Best Veteran dog and Best Veteran dog (all graded "Excellent") Eligibility for Minor Puppy &/or Best Puppy: Puppies placed 1st with a "Very Promising" grading Certificates & Grading: Excellent and Very Good Certificates will be issued by the office and Critiques will be issued in the ring. CRITIQUES: Written critiques will be given for all dogs entered JUDGING COMMENCES: BREED: Refer to the judging schedule for Breed allocations & order of judging for various judges. R. Lucas & U. The dog's welfare must be of utmost priority at all dog shows RING PLANS: will be posted on various websites. PRIZES: Certificates, Rosettes and Prizes for Group Winners and Final events. BENCHING; (includes anywhere on the grounds - set up will be allowed from 12h30 on Thursday 6th October as long as all the rings and mowing is completed. When erecting your tents and Gazebo's kindly set them back one (1) meter from the edge of the rings. This includes any ropes etc., CATERING: Public catering will be provided at all the shows and events COMMERCIAL STANDS: Friday, Saturday & Sunday - R150.00 per day or R400.00 for all 3 days for a 3 x 3 meter space. these areas for commercial stands will be marked off as a whole and allocated on a first come first serve basis on the day of arrival. Payment in cash will be collected on the day and will be donated to Goldfields Show grounds (Enquiries: Adele Coetsee Cell 076 846 5718 or email: adele.sealy@vodamail.co.za or Fax 086 673 9063) THIS FCI SHOW is held under the Rules and Regulations of the FCI The FCI Show is judged according to FCI Breed Standards the Reserve CACIB is awarded to the second best dog which was given the qualification "Excellent" from the eligible classes. The dog placed second in the class from which the CACIB winner was awarded may compete for the Reserve CACIB, if awarded an "Excellent grading. It is not compulsory to award the Reserve CACIB. The Best Junior, CACIB winner and Best Veteran from both sexes, if awarded an "Excellent" grading, will compete for Best of Breed. (BOB. The judge must also choose the best exhibit from the opposite sex (BOS) next to the BOB winner If a dog behaves aggressively in the ring (breed-group-finals) and its behaviour is eye-witnessed by the judge on duty, the latter must submit a report for the attention of the organising committee and must disqualify the dog for the rest of the competition. All the awards and titles of the day are consequently cancelled. Where FCI regulations are not covered the KUSA Schedule 3 shall take effect. All exhibits must be on leads at all times unless otherwise instructed by a Judge The Show Committee reserves the right to allocate to OPEN class any dog entered in a Class for which it is not eligible, or entered in a class that does not exist. No refund of entry money will be made where the exhibitor has made an error on the entry form. The Show Committee reserves the right to appoint alternative judges, re-allocate breeds and advise all exhibitors entered, of an earlier judging time, should the appointed judges be unable to officiate or receive too large or too small an entry. RING PLANS will be posted on various websites. Emergency areas must be kept clear at all times. These areas which will be marked off with hazard tape are also indicated on the Ring plan. No gazebos or benching allowed in emergency areas Sufficient parking has been provided and no vehicles will be allowed within the designated show area. All exhibitors, handlers, owners are advised that they and any exhibit entered in any event may be photographed for, by or on behalf of TKC for the use and possible publication of such photograph by TKC. No animal other than an exhibit entered for competition or exhibition shall be allowed on the grounds, with the exception of registered guide dogs. TKC Kennel Club is Affiliated to The Kennel Union of Southern Africa and therefore only recognises the KUSA Website. | |||
